The business offers accounting services to their customers in four different locations in London and the new management of the organization is expecting to locate their business into ten locations across other cities in the UK in the near future as the accounting services organization is planning to improve its efficiency and to get best of market values. The accounting services could range assisting various business organizations to help in their daily expense and revenues and offer auditing services according to their requirements. This accounting firm is currently operating on traditional practices, not managing proper database of its customers, not adopting effective operational and marketing practices. The organization can adopt management information systems to produce highly productive products and services for their customers by adopting computer-based information systems including computer hardware, software, data, procedures and people involvement in the improvements of the services.


               The new management of an accounting agency purchased a fictitious medium sized organization which is offering accounting services to their customers in four different locations in the city of London. The management of the organization is planning to expand the business to 10 different locations in the nearby cities of London in the UK by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the business. The business was firstly opened in 1975 and offered their services to the local community for many years. But, unfortunately the business is experiencing steady decline over the past few years and the new management is concerned how to improve the services of the company to increase customer base and to enhance the reputation of the company among its loyal customers (Cadle, Paul and Turner, 2010). Although the previous management of the organization was expert in running the accounting services of the business, but most of these services and their operations have now become outdated and needed to be improved. The new management of the accounting firm offering services to their customer in 4 city locations is planning to improve the services and to expand the business in 10 locations across other cities. To meet their business objectives, they have applied for a $100,000 in the bank to develop a management information system to successfully enhance the capability of their business to deal with expanding needs of their customers. The previous owner had a terrific memory and he had the recognition of its customers by their name, but unfortunately, none of the information is located anywhere in the premises. Therefore, there is considerable need to improve the business operations, marketing and advertising services in the local newspapers and to improve and update the business going to implement a new information system (Sharrieff, 2015). 

3.0  Business Analysis Team
