There are some major factors which contribute in disciplining kids including mother, society and relatives in his different stages of childhood. These several stages which have equally relevant demands and it is up to these factors to fulfill this demand.

When the question arises about Disciplining kids, the first and foremost thing comes into mind is the attitude of mother. Hitler said “give me good mothers; I shall give you good nation.” A child learns in the shade of mother. If a mother is disciplined, the child will learn discipline accordingly. So, mother plays an important role in disciplining kids in every age. Along with mother, relatives and environment also plays an important role in disciplining kids for life but these factors effects after the first stage of disciplining kids.

When a child takes birth, he is unaware of any good or bad. The first stage of disciplining kids is from birth time to 3 years. In this age, baby should be kept away from commodities such as video games, TV, remote controller, mobile phone etc because he is unable to understand their sensitivity. So, this is the first step towards his education. It is his mother who will tell him about the use and abuse of different little things. Along with this, mother also teaches the child how to behave well in different sort of circumstances. In this age the kid discovers the difference between normal and abnormal attitude. For example he is taught not to make noise, not to cry loudly and respect elders etc.

The second stage of disciplining kids encloses from 4 to 7 years when due to his development, child become conscious of actions and their consequences. He knows that if he will behave well, he will be rewarded but if he acts worst, he will have to bear results. In this disciplining of kid, society and relatives play their pertinent parts as well. The third stage of disciplining kids enfolds 8 to 12 years approximately when he understands every instruction. His attitude becomes challenging and he commits errors time and again due to lack of experience. In this stage, a kid also develops emotionally and sensually. So, this part of kids’ life has sensitiveness in itself and demands high care as well.

All these stages and factors have their equal contribution in disciplining kids but to say that these are only major factors for a child upbringing, would be unjust. A child has his own nature and he behaves according to that nature. Nature can be controlled but not changed. So, these factors can mould the nature little bit but cannot change the attitude from its stem.
